Allan Perera's Biography
Beginning his career track as a professional musician performing for audiences across Malaysia and then filling a host of entertainer-related roles, Allan has sung, acted and produced over a hundred TV and radio commercials to date.
In 1990, his joined Instant Café Theatre, famous for its wicked brand of Malaysian-inspired satirical humour, first as their musical director and soon after as a playwright and actor, receiving rave reviews from the Malaysian crowd. He then went on to co-found his own theatre company, Comedy Court – performing for royalty, government ministers, charitable causes and sold-out public performances.
Having acquired a full spectrum of experience in the communication industry via entertainment, comedy writing, the performing arts, television, recording and advertising, Allan is famed for his ability to connect with a vast network of Malaysians and abroad with ease and confidence.
He founded Giggle (M) Sdn Bhd in 2008 with the goal of being the 3600 wide global laughter movement, and was also focused on the Co-operative movement after having discovered vast untapped potential and the opportunity for mergers within the private sector. After having shared his vision with many captains of industry, Allan has formalized many strategic joint ventures that he now offers to selected Malaysian Co-operatives through AP Capital Ideas Sdn Bhd.
He is now focused on new creative business ventures and networking with other gifted individuals to present wholesome business opportunities, globally – and maintains his reputation as an exemplary innovator, ideas-man and creative imaginer.
